WRG Confident for eN Clash and Masters Cup

2016 DGL Dota 2 Masters Champions White Rabbit Gaming, having kept their same roster coming into 2017, have looked as strong as ever, and is the only team in the Masters not to have dropped a series.

They were just one loss away from a perfect run in Leg One, dropping just one game the entire Leg to Energy Esports, who happen to be their opponents later today in what is sure to be a slight grudge-match for White Rabbit Gaming, with eN having marred their 100 percent win-rate, a mistake they would no doubt like to fix this time around.

That being said, Energy Esports has been a somewhat revitalised side in the opening Weeks of Leg Two, managing to take down xTc Gaming in the opening weeks and definitely look to have new rhythm.

Telkom Gaming caught up with captain of White Rabbit Gaming, Ryan “Chidowi” Lancaster, to find out if the new-look Energy Esports side will prove any problems, and of course, to find out how preparations are going for the upcoming Dota 2 Masters Cup:

White Rabbit Gaming at the 2016 DGL Masters Championships

Telkom Gaming (TG): You have an interesting match against Energy Esports, a team that is actually beginning to find decent form. Do you have any reservations about the match?

Ryan “Chidowi” Lancaster: Yes, we are looking forward to playing them, playing Energy usually proves to be an entertaining match-up. With that being said, I don’t see us having too much of an issue with this warm-up game for the upcoming LAN tonight.

(TG): Looking forward to next week, are WRG making any serious preparation for the upcoming DGL Masters Cup?

Lancaster: We are starting our boot-camp this weekend, with our own dedicated 100MB up/down line which will make playing Europe pubs/scrims pretty nice (Thanks Coolideas). Our preparations will mainly consist of pubs during the day and scrims against Europeans at night.

(TG): Speaking of which, WRG is the only Master’s team not to drop a series so far in the DGL Masters. Do you plan to keep that trend up on LAN?

Lancaster: Yes, we have no intention to drop a game this LAN, not to mention a series. With the preparation we are putting in we have no intention of losing to anyone.
