DGL is proud to announce Razer as the official sponsor for both Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) and Dota 2 at the 2016 #TelkomDGC.

Taking place from 7 – 9 October at the Ticket-Pro Dome in South Africa, 16 of South Africa’s top CSGO and Dota 2 teams will compete for their share of more than R50, 000 in hardware prizes respectively, courtesy of the peripherals and hardware giant.

Razer first partnered with the #TelkomDGC back in 2014 and has continued to support and nurture the growth of Esports by backing some of the most renowned teams in the world including Team Liquid, LGD Gaming and, until recently, South Africa’s very own Bravado Gaming.

Razer has affirmed their commitment to gaming in South Africa and it’s wonderful to see them continue to invest in the future of local Esports,” says Johann Von Backström, DGL Management.

“The gaming community is a close knit group of people, built around a common passion. We’re very excited about Razer’s continued support and look forward to a stellar championship tournament!”

Bravado Gaming sealed the double at the 2015 #TelkomDGC, taking first in both CSGO and Dota 2.

However, this year we are guaranteed to crown new champions with Bravado competing in the #TelkomDGL #Masters Tournament for a share of R1 Million – the largest cash prize pool in the history of South African Esports.
