R1 Million Cash Prize Pool Split Revealed

The stage is set for the biggest final of the year, featuring eight of South Africa’s top MGOs competitng in #CSGO and #Dota2 for an incredible total cash prize pool of R1 Million! – The largest cash prize pool in the history of South African #Esports.

Just two weeks shy of the upcoming #TelkomDGL #Masters Final taking place from 7 – 9 October at  #rAgeExpo2016, Ticket-Pro Dome, Johannesburg, we can finally reveal that the winning teams will receive a massive R200,000 for CS:GO and Dota respectively.

First Place: R200,000

Second Place: R90,000

Third Place: R50,000

Fourth Place: R40,000

5th – 6th: R35,000

7th – 8th: R25,000

The Masters will be hosted by one of the most popular figures in modern eSports, Paul Chaloner. This charismatic host, presenter and commentator played a huge part in the inaugural launch of the Telkom DGL Masters series back in January. More recently, you may remember Paul as the host of last month’s #Dota2 #TI6 – the biggest #eSports tournament in the world.

Visitors to the rAge Expo will have full access to the Masters event, commencing Friday 7 October at 10:00am for the entire duration until closure on Sunday, 9 October 2016.

All your favorite teams will be in action as they compete against each-other in double-elimination, best-of-three (BO3) tournaments for both #CSGO and #Dota2 respectively.
