Leg Two of the DGL Dota 2 Masters is in full swing as week two matches fly by the wayside, and Sunday’s clash proves to be another interesting tale between fresh faced sides, Veneration E-Sports and eXDee Gaming.
Telkom Gaming recently sat down with Veneration E-Sports to run down their successful Community Shield Cup run, managing to secure themselves a place at the upcoming Masters Cup and being the only Master’s team to withstand the competition and make it out alive.
In the interview, captain Charl “Muzzy” Steyn said the team was aiming for a top five finish this Leg and, after a disappointing loss against Aperture Gaming in their opening match, they will no doubt be looking to bounce back against eXDee.
Formerly Constant Gaming from the Premier Division, eXDee Gaming has big shoes to fill this Leg as the former team (now Bravado Gaming) managed to get onto the podium for Leg One.
Although I don’t think anyone expects the new eXDee Gaming to perform quite that well, being newcomers to the Master’s, the team has proven to be a formidable side elsewhere in the DGL, so may prove their naysayers wrong.
The fresh-faced clash is set to take place this Sunday at 8pm, with local casters on hand to bring you the action live, so make sure to stay tuned to the DGL on Facebook and Twitter for the latest announcements.
