Damage Control Launches Sleek New Website

In case you missed it yesterday evening, Damage Control, one of the 10 MGO’s currently participating in the DGL Masters, announced the launch of their brand new website, and it is a shiny one.

Included in the site is their current rosters, for which they teams playing CS:GO, Dota 2, Overwatch and Hearthstone, as well as things like upcoming fixtures as well as an area dedicated to showcasing the various tournaments the MGO will be taking part in over the course of the year.

Telkom Gaming managed to catch a few words with owner of Damage Control, Alastair “Lag_Beast” Bearman, to find out what inspired the new website:

Telkom Gaming: Hello Ali, we see Damage Control has launched a new website! What was the motivation for the over-haul?

Alastair “Lag_Beast” Bearman: Well, it’s been well over a year since we have had a functional website, unfortunately last year the person we had asked to do this for us in-house just didn’t have time to sit down and push a website out. So, this year, we decided to approach someone else who would be able to dedicate some time to getting this incredible website up and running.

TG: What can we expect from the new site? Any cool new features?

Bearman: At the moment we have just the barebones of an MGO website up which covers our Rosters, which leagues we are participating in currently, our results, of course our great sponsors and pretty soon we will have a couple features we are working on that will enable us to review products, write opinion articles as well as provide a steady stream of local and international news.

TG: Does Damage Control have any other surprises hidden up their sleeve for the near future?

Bearman: There are a couple things in the background that we are working on, one such thing that I can say up front is the possibility of supporters shirts and potentially some other nifty things coming soon, so stay tuned!

Also a special thank you to Yolanda Green for creating this epic website. Without her hard work none of this would have been possible!
