Taking place from 7 – 9 October at the Ticket-Pro Dome in South Africa, 16 of South Africa’s top LoL teams will compete for their share of nearly R50,000 in cash and prizes courtesy of Corsair.
The peripherals and hardware giant first partnered with the #TelkomDGC back in 2015 and has continued to support and nurture the growth of Esports in South Africa by investing in top DGL teams like Veneration E-Sports and Ventus Gaming.
“DGL has continued to lead the way in South African Esports and we are thrilled to have the support of Corsair again this year,” says Johann Von Backström, DGL Management.
“We are excited about the growth of the local Esport scene and the support from Corsair through the years has contributed significantly to the growth and success of the Telkom DGL.”
All 16 teams qualified for the #TelkomDGC through the regular DGL (digitalgamingleague.co.za) season, finishing top of their respective divisions.
eN.Re Vera [Energy E-Sports] are the reigning LoL champions, having successfully retained their title at last year’s competition for a record third-consecutive time. Can the champions make it four-in-a-row?
